From bodyguard to investor.
I grew up in Marseille, in a working-class neighborhood, where my only window onto the world of wealth was the television. At twenty, I moved to Nice, and began a career few people ever experience: bodyguard to the very wealthy. Business leaders, artists, elite athletes, then billionaires. For twenty years, I lived a few meters away from them, from morning to night.
I watched how they decide, what they buy, what they never buy, how they treat time, money and risk. One day, I asked one of them what wealthy people actually buy. The answer came in one word: "Assets." That word changed my life.
Fifteen years of personal investing followed: mistakes paid for in full, lessons engraved, patience rewarded. Today, I run WISE.group, my French financial-education company, and I teach one thing only: the way of thinking I observed, and then lived.
